摘要
Investigations of signal integrity as well as of electromagnetic susceptibility and radiations require simulation tools and therefore correct and efficient models of the circuit components, including coupled transmission lines. Some aspects of transmission line modeling are discussed, combining well-known theoretical results with various SPICE-Subcircuits. In detail, the following models of two coupled symmetrical transmission lines are dealt with: a model with mutual capacitances and inductances, a model with 3 decoupled lines, the case with different phase velocities for common and differential mode, a model with consideration of the skin effect.
