摘要
The determination of process parameters, like droplet diameter and velocity or mass transfer rates, is fundamental for the modeling and designing of the liquid-liquid extraction process. In this context, phase-Doppler anemometry (PDA) and rainbow refractometry (RBR) offer improved and unexpected possibilities of droplet characterization in liquid-liquid systems.
