摘要
This paper proposes a new power cell for a regenerative Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) converter. The Two-Level Voltage Source Inverter (2L-VSI) is replaced with a Four-Switch Three Phase Inverter (FSTPI), and the H-Bridge is replaced with a half-bridge, creating a new power cell configuration. The structure of the power cell is explained, and its operation is analyzed. The proposed power cell and its capabilities are verified through simulation studies of a 3kV CHB motor drive. The results show the possibility of replacing the traditional power cell with a proposed cell, effectively reducing the required number of switches from ten to six.
