摘要
GaP nanorods have been successfully synthesized by reaction between volatile Ga2O and carbon nanotubes in a phosphorus atmosphere. Their formation is the result of a two-step process. The carbon nanotube-confined reaction produces GaP nanorods with diameters similar to the diameters of the starting carbon nanotubes, and then epitaxial growth of GaP on the surface increases the diameter.
