Instantaneous frequency scaling ratio statistics for scintillation during rain

摘要
The intensity of amplitude scintillation observed during rain is examined at two pairs of satellite-Olympus' beacon frequencies. The derived frequency scaling ratio statistics are presented and compared with the long-term theoretical scaling factor valid for turbulence-induced scintillation. The analysis indicates both the deviations of the experimental ratios about the mean level and their dependence upon the fluctuation severity.
