Mechanical properties of a three-dimensional woven composite structure

摘要
Mechanical properties of sandwich structure with three-dimensional woven composite material are experimentally evaluated through tensile testing. Material system used is a three-dimensional woven composite sandwiched by face GFRP composite laminate plate. Mechanical properties of the face material and the three-dimensional composite are also evaluated. The relation between the mechanical properties of the sandwich structure and those of constituent materials are discussed. Damage progress behavior during tensile loading is also microscopically observed.
