The effect of temperature-dependent viscosity on heat transfer over a continuous moving surface

摘要
The effect of temperature-dependent viscosity on the heat transfer over a continuous moving surface is studied. The boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations containing a Prandtl number and a viscosity/temperature parameter. The velocity profiles, temperature profiles, the skin friction coefficient and the rate of heat transfer are computed and discussed in detail for various values of the viscosity/temperature parameter and Prandtl number.
