Applicability of the theory of volume filling of pores to adsorption on polyester fiber from solutions

摘要
Adsorption of dispersed dyes on polyester fiber from water-dimethylformamide and water-ethanol media was studied at various temperatures. It was shown that the parameters of the principal equation of the theory of volume filling of pores might change their physical meaning when the equation was applied to adsorption from solutions. The change in parameter n of the isotherm of this theory from 2 in water to 1 in aqueous-organic solvents was related to a change in the solvating power of I:he medium.
