256 QAM (Polarization-multiplexed, 5 Gsymbol/s) Coherent Transmission with an Injection-locked Homodyne Detection Technique

摘要
We demonstrate an 80 Gbitis-256 QAM coherent optical transmission with a fiber laser-based injection-locked homodyne detection circuit. The circuit enabled low phase-noise carrier-phase synchronization, and an 80-Gbit/s data signal was successfully transmitted over 150 km.
