Study on the Teaching Model of School Physical Education of Middle and Primary School in the New Period

To develop the sports power must be caught up from childhood. For a long time, as the students in the middle and primary school period are faced with the test of senior high school entrance examination or college entrance examination, PE is not valued in the school teaching content. PE classes are taken over and cancelled frequently and the students' physical conditions are worried. Though relevant policy and regulation to promote school physical education are issued by the nation, and PE tests carried, the sports status quo is still not solved from the source. Document literature method is mainly adopted in this paper to reform the old teaching pattern and explore the new sports teaching pattern. Besides, five sports teaching model including heuristic education, "overturn classroom" education, "individualized" teaching based on network and inquiry-based teaching are raised to provide some theoretical guidance for the development of PE in middle and primary school.
