Superhigh frequency modulation of light by Rydberg atoms interacting with the electromagnetic field squeezed vacuum

Multiphoton resonances of a two-level system with nonzero average dipole moments (Rydberg atoms, molecules) under the action of electromagnetic field squeezed vacuum photons with frequency omega are analyzed. It is demonstrated that the width of the wave packet of the initial squeezed state significantly influences the multiphoton transition rate and the width of the absorption envelope band. The half-width of this band is a non-monotonic (pulsing) function of the delay time. The effect of superhigh frequency modulation of a probe monochromatic signal Omega by squeezed light omega is predicted.
