摘要
According to Oxford Dictionary, Sign Language is a system of communication using visual gestures and signs, as used by deaf people. Sign language been used by almost 1 million people in the world and there is over 60 sign language used around the world. Most deaf and mute people will learn a sign language in school. However, the normal people would not understand sign language as deaf and mute people understand it thus make a communication between a normal person and mute person is limited. Hence, this project used and android base glove to be wear by a person who do a sign language and it will convert into a text and speech at the android application on handphone.
