摘要
Based on the so called "Gammelfleischskandal" particular in the end of 2005 or early 2006 and then again by the events in autumn 2007, several German countries have taken measures to avoid such incidents in future by strengthening and optimization of their monitoring activities. In Baden-Wurttemberg, priority programs were launched, in particular to intensify its monitoring activities in establishments at the interface between the legal rules on food and animal by-products. Against the background of the many outstanding issues, the countries together with representatives of the responsible federal ministry (BMELV) launched a temporary joint project, which dealt with specific, open aspects of this interface area. In a two-part review, the results are presented. In the first part the results of the priority program of veterinary and food control in Baden-Wurttemberg will be presented. The results of the above-named joint project of the two working groups ACTT LAV (AG animal diseases and animal health) and AFFL (AG Meat and Poultry Hygiene and specific issues of food of animal origin) are presented in a second part.
