摘要
The increasing environmental concerns from a broader range of corporate stakeholders and the severe environmental deterioration require more practical and effective assessment tools developed for the environmental administrators to facilitate the corporations move beyond the mere compliance to the environmental legislations. This paper proposed the application of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to the assessment of corporate eco-efficiency. The method of DEA was introduced and the discussion on its application on eco-efficiency assessment was provided. A case study was implemented and the results indicated that the method of DEA applied with a set of appropriate eco-efficiency indicators may provide uniform base for the comparison of eco-efficiency across the corporations.
