Discussion on Emissions Trading Mechanism in the Context of Energy-saving Emission Reduction for the Power Industry in Fujian Province

摘要
At present the power industry would sustain its development, two problems must be solved: One is, try to conserve energy, using limited energy to produce as much electricity as possible to extend using time of non-renewable energy. The other is to reduce or eliminate environmental pollution caused by electricity production, so that "three wastes" treatment resource. Clearly, energy-saving emission reduction will become the theme of sustainable development for China's power industry. Some topics on Fujian power industry, which involve idea of emissions trading, pricing of emission permits, incentives and so on, have been explored in this paper, with a view to promote energy-saving emission reduction of the power industry in our province.
