摘要
This research project seeks to identify the relationship between social investment and education in Ecuador to recognize the importance of social spending in improving educational conditions in the country. The aim is to analyze the social investment behavior of the Ecuadorian government in the national economy, examine the development of education in Ecuador and determine the level of incentive that social investment has on the progress of the population. We proceeded to check the hypothesis of research through three models of multiple linear regression that explain the population proportion of 12 years and over with complete primary, the percentage of the population of 18 years and over with full baccalaureate and the population of 25 years and older with complete higher education based on the various forms of government investment in the social sector. The results show that the budget allocated to education, condition the ability of individuals to continue their studies, in this case access to health will ensure that children and young people are with the physical conditions to study. The inaccessibility to education at an early age, as well as the difficulties to be educated in the long term end up limiting the population to complete their education.
