摘要：

The following paper describes modeling and testing that was performed to assess the performance of an EMP hardened substation protection and control system that can be used as a mitigation solution for new and retrofit applications. The system was assessed against both radiated and conducted El HEMP threats. Results from laboratory testing and 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulations show that the system provides adequate protection from El HEMP fields up to 50 kV/m
