摘要
Computer-assisted Career Guidance Systems (CACGs) have become extremely important; they support users, particularly, high school students to develop self-understanding, vocational understanding, and beyond. Notwithstanding all the progress and interest ported to the development of innovative and efficient career and vocational guidance, in the human-computer interaction domain, several questions remain unanswered. One of these questions regards the direct and indirect effects such systems can have on the user's decision-making process during his vocational and/or career projects. So far, the evaluation of user impact evaluation is limited, making it an area that needs further investigation. In this context, this work presents a survey instrument to evaluate the impact of CACGs on high school students based on the system utility attributes, hedonic attributes, and social/engagement attributes. This study contributes to the general body of knowledge on Computer-assisted Career Guidance Systems by providing a comprehensive theoretical foundation and practical implications that illuminate the sustained use of CACGs.
