摘要
A small bucket ion source as a negative ion source was studied experimentally. The negative ion was detected as the peak value of an extracted current, and the negative ion current increased with the increase of the extracted current. Also for confirming the truth of negative ion, the characteristic of a He gas was investigeted, and the peak of negative current was not observed in the He gas. From these results, it is comfirmed that the peak value of negative current observed in the H-2 gas was due to the negative ion.
