摘要
Erosion of components working in particulate environment is a serious problem that causes premature failure. In this study, we want to identify different areas caused by particle impact erosion and also express a permanent impression using experimental method. Our study was performed on the real turbine blade worked in the industry. This paper investigated the effect of particle velocity and particle diameter on erosion rate of a smooth surface using FE method. Criterion of erosion rate calculation is sum of the all elements with strain of more than 0.2%. Particle velocity and particle diameter were considered in the range of 100-500 m/s and 1-5 mm, respectively.
