摘要
This paper presents a practical application of coupling observational procedure with numerical analysis to a deep excavation in Shanghai. A newly developed observational procedure using automated data acquisition system was carried out. Some of back analyses are used to estimate parameters and to predict the safety of bracing system. The reduction of both cost and period of construction are then realized.
