摘要
The aim of this research is to investigate the difficulties faced by EJA learners of Elementary School Phase II in oral, reading and writing learning, and aims to understand how it is being worked to serve these students of the EJA as a process and not as a final product. Thus, this study was carried out through a field survey. The data used for analysis were real classroom contexts of the 8th grade elementary school of a municipal public school located at Rua Joao Paulo Barbosa, S/N, Vila Ameixas. Based on the data collected, it was possible to trace the profile of the subjects collaborating in the research, as well as to reveal how events and literacy practices occur in the said group of Youth and Adult Education. In this way, we find that the conceptions of reading and writing from the perspective of the students and the teacher of the class prioritize in a full way the social uses of writing, which contributes to an active participation in teaching practices.
