摘要
This paper aims to solve the free and transient vibration behaviors of the combined functionally graded cylindrical-conical shells coupled with annular plates considering the thermo-mechanical coupling effect. On the basis of the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT), the thermo-mechanical coupling energy equations of functionally graded material (FGM) conical shells are obtained. By introducing the artificial spring technique, the energy expressions of the combined structure in thermal environment are derived. The free and transient vibration behaviors of the combined structure in thermal environment are obtained by solving the energy expressions with the spectro-geometric method. In the numerical examples, the validity of the model proposed in this paper is verified by comparison with the published data and finite element solutions. Finally, the influence of structural parameters, temperature, and other factors on the free and transient vibration behaviors of the combined structure is analysed.
