Writing useful technical/business objectives

The benefits of writing technical and business objectives, are discussed. Written objectives are useful in clarifying and reaching agreements with others on what they expect from a manager. Identifying possibilities explicitly enables to clarify them, and to assess their feasibility and their relative value. Dates on objectives influence their achievability, when multiple objectives are considered simultaneously.
