摘要
The hyperbolic and exponential curves fitting methods are extended to the case of consolidation of vertical-drained ground in this paper. The method of least square is introduced to predict the final settlement, immediate settlement and consolidation parameters (alpha and beta) of soft clay foundation by vertical drains using settlement records. This method will provide an effective and practical means of monitoring the progress of consolidation in field applications using vertical drain and surcharge.
