摘要
In this paper, the popular model of entrepreneurial behavior is modified by the addition of the strategic concept of resource availability. This concept is added as two variables, one examining the perceptions of resource munificence in the environment and the second measuring the entrepreneur's self-belief of his/her ability to acquire these resource for the firm's use. The results of a survey of small firms confirm that entrepreneurs' perceptions about resources contribute to their business success as measured by firm sales and employment growth.
