摘要
In last few decades we can see many failures of managers at every size of companies all around the world caused by lack of information. These managers who did bad decision were too tied to the operational requirements of business and the result of their bad decisions affected the whole company business and company strategy. The main problem of these failures are decisions driven by emotions, intuition or political influences inside or outside of the company instead of data and numbers driven decisions. Business Intelligence as a part of Data-driven Decision Support System can help to avoid these bad decisions by developing proper reporting solution for managers. Nowadays organizations have to follow technological trends which are reshaping the landscape of reporting development process from slow and inflexible to much more flexible and agile reporting process. This new trend requires three critical components: Technology: As we know, data warehouses deliver a "single version of the truth". In order to fulfill this condition we have to also modify DWH. For this purpose we can apply agile DWH modelling process which follow the actual needs of end users. Culture: It's always very complicated process to persuade management of organization to change business supportive environment. But without ongoing support, organizations cannot be successful with any new reporting solution. Process: To achieve agile reporting solution organizations must develop the way how to meet specific need for agile development process of DWH.
