Characterization of Norwegian marine clays with combined shear wave velocity and piezocone cone penetration test (CPTU) data

摘要
Une base de donnees contenant des informations sur l'essai de penetration au cone (CPTU) et la vitesse des ondes de cisaillement (V-s), pour des argiles marines en Norvege, a ete assemblee dans le but d'etudier les relations entre les deformations faibles et la rigidite pour ces materiaux. Les donnees de CPTU et de V-s pourraient aussi etre combinees afin de caracteriser ces sols. Les donnees utilisees proviennent generalement de sites ou de l'echantillonnage en bloc de haute qualite a ete effectue. L'article suggere des ameliorations aux relations existantes entre le module de cisaillement a faible deformations (G(max)) ou V-s et les proprietes de ces sols. Des recherches recentes ont demontre que la resistance corrigee a la pointe du cone (q(t)) des CPTU et particulierement la pression interstitielle mesuree durant les CPTU (u(2)) et V-s peuvent etre mesures de facon fiable et reproductible et ne dependent ni de l'operateur et ni de l'equipement. Une nouvelle charte de classification des sols avec la resistance normalisee du cone (Q(t)) et la vitesse normalisee des ondes de cisaillement (V-s1) ou V-s1 et delta u/Sigma'(v0) (ou u est la pression interstitielle et Sigma'(v0) est la contrainte effective verticale in situ) est presentee. Cette charte permet de distinguer clairement les argiles ayant un ratio de surconsolidation (ORC) different.
