Mechanism of improving solubility of Ca(OH)2 with glucose

摘要
The effect of glucose concentration, the temperature of solution and time on the solubility of Ca(OH)(2) and the pH value of the solution were studied. The results indicated that the solubility of Ca(OH)(2) could be largely improved by the formation of C6H12O6 center dot Ca(OH)(2); and because of the decomposition of glucose, the color of solution turned yellow, the solubility of Ca(OH)(2) and the pH value of the solution declined.
