摘要：

We discuss existence and multiplicity of bounded variation solutions of the mixed problem for the prescribed mean curvature equation -div (del u/root 1 +|del u|(2)) = f (x, u) in Omega, u = 0 on Gamma(D), partial derivative u/partial derivative v = 0 on Gamma(N), where Gamma(D) is an open subset of partial derivative Omega and Gamma(N) = partial derivative Omega\Gamma(D). Our approach is based on variational techniques and a lower and upper solutions method specially developed for this problem.
