摘要
There is a wide agreement among researchers, that the period of preschool age highly influences the future life of each human being. This is true for the attitudes towards nature and environment as well. The strongest influence on the children during this period has their parents. That is why we focused on the relationship child - parent. The paper objective is to describe the connection between environmental attitudes of preschool children and same attitudes of their parents. Respondents came from Czech kindergartens. The design of the research is quantitative, as a research tool were used two different questionnaires with the same purpose. The first one is picture-based and focuses on attitudes of children, the second one, Connectedness to Nature Scale, have the standard concept, with the series of the statements with Likert-type scale answers. Obtained data were statistically analyzed and we found some interesting results. The correlation between environmental attitudes of children and their parents is positive and moderate. There is also a strong relation between the level of parents' attitudes and their highest level of education. We briefly discussed some other factors that can affect tracked attitudes like age and sex as well as the limits of used research tool. Research in this age group is rare, mainly because of the problematic acquisition of relevant data
