摘要
Technology, nowadays playing a significant role in all aspects of life. Working with information and communication technology (ICT) may be associated with flow experience at work. This paper is an attempt to check the multidimensionality structure of flow experience and to answer the question of whether three-factor structure model of flow experience or the hypothesised four-factor structure model fits better in information and communication technology-based learning in higher education. For this, a sample of 156 students of Banaras Hindu University participated in the study. Two methods were applied, first exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted to extract the factor structure in spss 22 version and the fit of this has been then tested using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) in Amos 21. Findings indicate that a two-factor second order model better fits the dataset than the three-factor first-order model. This confirms the multidimensionality of flow construct, being absorption is the core dimension.
