摘要
In this paper is present a method for the determining of fixed series capacitor location and of the optimal value of capacitive reactance so that the voltage profile in distribution networks to be improved. The optimal value of capacitive reactance is obtained through the minimization of the average of the squares of voltage deviations of the voltage from consumption node. To establish the capacitor location, the real network is replaced with a fictional equivalent line and it put the condition that the arithmetic average of the squares of voltage deviations for real network to be equal to the average of the squares of voltage deviations in the fictional node.
