摘要
In the article, the characteristics of electromagnetic (EM) scattering from ship wake on the finite depth sea surface have been studied. The model of finite depth sea surface is established by introducing the shoaling coefficient firstly. Then the Kelvin wake produced by the ship with a velocity on the finite depth sea surface can be obtained with the consideration of water depth. With the method of Two-Scale Method (TSM), the distribution of backscattering coefficients from the ship wake on the finite depth sea surface can be calculated. The scattering results indicate that the ship wake on the finite depth sea surface will represent more diffusion wave features for low wind speed, and the phenomenon will weaken for high wind speed.
