摘要
Based on the evidence from Zhejiang manufacturing sector, this paper has assessed the Technological Progress Contribution Rate (TPCR) in the economic growth using Cobb-Douglas Production Function and So low Economic Growth Rate Equation. It also analyzed effects by FDI on TPCR The result shows that FDI has no clear effect on TPCR However, the direct and indirect effects of FDI from developed countries have positive impact on TPCR, and FDI from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have negative impacts. We also find that FDI invested in manufacturing industries in Zhejiang have different effects on TPCR in middle and low-tech industries and high-tech industries.
