摘要
A large class of problems frequently encountered in industrial systems involves the control of large-scale complex systems by decentralized proportional and integral(PI) controllers. PI control is adequate for many industrial applications, have long been a significant focus of attention by academics and control practitioners. In the paper a design procedure for decentralized PI controllers is presented based upon eigenvalue assignment approach. Tracking, of errors in both state and outputs to their reference trajectories is achieved asymptotically through assigning a prescribed set of eigenvalues to the global closed lop system. The procedure for computing the gains lets one concentrate on analysis and design beside on mathematical manipulations. The procedure reduces and decomposes the numerical burden often arises in the study of large-scale systems, since all computations are performed at subsystem levels. The procedure is constructive. simple in concept and suitable for large-scale systems. consequently it may find frequent applications in the area of large-scale systems. A prominent feature of the paper is ease of use of the proposed "simple and convenient"controller design algorithm especially when the intended application is decentralized. Copyright (C) 2001 IFAC.
