A SYSTEM QUALIFICATION PLATFORM FOR FPGA BOARD LEVEL TESTING AND AUTOMATED REGRESSION

摘要
This paper introduces a practical platform called the System Qualification Platform (SQP). The SQP is designed to execute FPGA Software (SW) and Silicon (HW) co-verification at the board level and becomes an effective complementary solution to current SW validation methods which are based on simulation. With the SQP the user can develop cases, manage test suites/boards, launch testing, and analyze on-board running results on a Pc. Moreover, the SQP's flexible architecture makes it a best practice for integrating new SW products and correspondingly-supported HW products, while offering more test cases to improve coverage. Automated regression can be easily fulfilled when the development phase ends.
