摘要
Innovativeness is of key importance for any health care organisation in order for it to maintain a competitive position in the medical service market. The implementation and proper management of medical innovations are perceived to be indispensable in the operation of health care entities, which are places where new solutions are implemented in medicine. The purpose of this paper is to show the importance of innovations in health care entities, the approaches and aspects involved in management innovation, as well as highlighting the significance of standardisation in the management process. Health care entities, which are often treated as sui generis companies, often require the use of different forms of innovation management to improve productivity and contribute to the change of hitherto activities. This includes the application of communication and information technologies, which is of critical importance in creating the possibility of using new and effective solutions in health service provision.
