摘要
PMMA Fresnel lenses from three vendors were compared using Amonix CPV systems in the same power plant, the 30MW Cogentrix CPV plant in Alamosa, CO. Two years worth of performance data on each lens has been collected and analyzed. The analysis shows the energy differences generated in two years by the three lenses is larger than expected. It was found that one of the three lenses exhibited a weaker temperature dependence than the other two. In addition, Silicone-on-glass (SOG) Fresnel lens performance was compared with PMMA lens performance on the same Amonix MegaModule on a system installed in Pomona, CA.
