摘要
The influence of renewable energy's generation efficiency and productivity changes on the economy has become an important topic. By reviewing previous literature, it can be found that there are rare discussions about renewable power in strategic emerging industries and the economic impact of renewable power generation. To fill the gap of the previous studies, this paper takes solar power generation as the research object and analyzes the influence of solar power generation efficiency on economy. This paper empirically collects data of 20 countries from 2010 to 2016 to discuss the influence of solar power generation efficiency and economic performance on the scale of solar power generation in each country. The empirical results show that when a country's solar power generation efficiency increases, the solar generation scale of the country will increase, indicate that the efficiency of solar power generation has a significant positive influence on the scale of solar power generation. Besides, it also concomitantly has the benefit of boosting the growth of solar power storage in the country. In other words, when the production efficiency of renewable energy is improved, it can effectively promote the development of energy storage and bring benefits for sustainable development.
