Dielectric relaxation in sandstone saturated with mineral water

摘要
The frequency dependence of the permittivity epsilon and the tangent of the dielectric loss angle tan delta in sandstone saturated with mineral water is studied. Parameters characterizing relaxational polarization are estimated from experimental data. The distribution function of relaxation times is determined. The results are discussed within the framework of the absolute reaction rate theory. The activation energy, free energy, heat, and relaxation activation entropy of dipole groups in the study system are determined.
