Research on staged soft-coal combustion in the FRED pressurized fluidized bed reactor

摘要：
In a research project of DMT GmbH investigations of a power plant process with extremely staged combustion were carried out. Major part of the project were test runs in the fluidised bed reactor FRED at DMT. Basic correlations concerning input coal, temperature of the fluidised bed and pressure of the combustion are described. In this way, it is possible to reach turbine inlet temperatures of 1300 degreesC using air as oxidant in the afterburner. Further research work will be focused on technical realisation and emissions.
