摘要
Paramanicapsocus longiantennatus gen. et sp. nov. is herein described and assigned to the family Manicapsocidae Mockford, 1967. This taxon represents one of only three manicapsocid genera recorded and described from the mid-Cretaceous amber of Myanmar. As a result of recent discoveries, the fossil genera belonging to this family are now superior in number compared to the extant ones, which hints at a greater diversity of the group in the past. A comparative table presenting some identification characters of the fossil manicapsocid genera is proposed below. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
