Numerical simulation of two elliptical particles' sedimentation with inertial using Lattice Boltzmann method

摘要：
The efficient computational method based on Lattice-Boltzmann method is introduced and used to simulate the sedimentation of two ellipses. The sedimentation of two ellipses with an aspect ratio of 3 in two-dimensional channel has a solid-to-fluid density ratio a little larger than 1. The characteristics of the sedimentations with different Reynolds number are summarized.
