摘要
The requirement of stability and reliability for system bus is increasing significantly, such as CPCI/PXI or the express versions. Hot-swap capability, one of most attractive features of CPCI, can avoid restarting and reducing the waiting time of testing system, when the devices are replaced, and then the reliability is improved. This paper explains the hot-swap capability of CPCI and the design ideology of HA hot-swap system, builds a system framework, introduces the realization of hot- swap functionality of CPCI based on VxWorks, and develops universal and authentic hot-swap software. The paper realizes the CPCI hot- swap under VxWorks, and the hot-swap software has been applied to real testing system.
