摘要
A study was carried out to determine to what extent can the presence of a thin film at the surface of a rigid substrate contribute to the dissipation mechanisms involved during tack. For this purpose, multilayers with alternating layers of gold and alkanethiol molecules were grafted on a glass substrate. The number of layers was varied as well as the nature of the top surface layer. The contribution of surface energy was very prominent. Most interesting was the influence of the number of layers present in the nanostructure on tack energy.
