摘要
Backward generation of radiation by a relativistically driven electron is reviewed in the context of the moving mirror model and other simple models that consider individually the electrons of a plasma. Instead of studying high order harmonic generation - i.e. the frequency domain - the time evolution of the reflected field is considered. For many feasible situations, the reflected light is built of by a series of attosecond pulse trains.
