摘要
This paper shows the role and benefits of Bf system implementation in PT Pertamina Lubricants specifically in its lube distribution process since there has not been any comprehensive data analysis regarding the leverage of BI system in lube distribution. The paper also explores some benefits of Bf system implementation, including consolidation and protection of data, optimization of product distribution and warehouse management. The approach of the BI system implementation is by establishing data warehouse from various sources, providing ad hoc reporting, and creating interactive dashboard visualization. As the result, PT Pertamina Lubricant can make better decisions based on the timely and accurate information. However, the BI implementation also faces several challenges. In order to address the issues, a number of actions are taken by PT Pertamina lubricants.
