摘要
A single-sided variant of ground-backed coplanar waveguide is presented and compared to microstrip and traditional symmetric GB-CPW. Potential advantages include reduced PC board real-estate consumption, good signal isolation, and ability to add-on transmission-line components including filters and impedance matching stubs during prototyping. Experimental comparison results are reported from DC to 30GHz from a low cost, 4-layer FR4 process test board.
