摘要
Complex oxides of the composition La1-xSrxCoO3 (x = 0, 0.3, and 0.5) and LaSrCoO4 with perovskite-like structures obtained cryosynthetically were studied as catalysts of the oxidation of CH3OH at 200degreesC. The partial oxidation of methanol to formaldehyde was found to follow a step mechanism with the participation of structural oxygen. The complete oxidation of the alcohol to carbon dioxide involved the dissociative adsorption of molecular oxygen.
